I have had some bad habits most of life in regards to eating.
- over eating
- eating to comfort myself in times of stress
- eating late at night(junk food)
I am a morning person. I am up before dawn most days. I get a workout in and eat clean for 80% of the day. But later in the day I find myself not moving enough and eating foods that I certainly should not be. Fuck!
Well don't have it around. Okay. But that does not stop me from going to a store and grabbing a package of peanut M&M's. Pathetic really. I am happy with my progress on P90X but I really want to lose belly fat. That spare tire of blubber. I am working out with heavier weights than ever. I am going to failure on all resistance exercises. But you can't out train a bad diet.
So how to break the habit of eating junk food out of boredom.
- Eat more during the day. More protein. More veggies(fiber).
- Drink more water. I am good most days but not as good on others. Lack of proper water is one the main reasons people do not lose weight consumption.
- I have to create new habits. Go for a walk. Do push ups. Do some H.I.I.T. Heaven forbid I change the way I have been operating for the past 39years!
- Take more regular pics . The camera does not lie. Gotta get on this starting today.
- Get out of my shell and go to an evening fitness class.(Gulp)
