My weigh in was good today. The number was small but it is a loss. I lost 0.6. Down to 149.8. Last week was 150.4. Very happy that the number is still going down. The closer to the goal, the harder it can be. I feel really good.
My last workout was Tuesday. Wednesday I had a work meeting until 1230 and was so sore I don't think I could have done anything without WAILING! I had my kids this week so I spent time with them and took them to their team building Deck Nite for Cudas on Wed evenign from 9 pm to 10. Thursday night I was so tired I took advantage of a quiet evening at home. I have worked late monday to thursday. It caught up to me yesterday. Having said that, I am very happy that my meals have been healthy, and still losing, with a bit less workout activity.
Today is Friday, and I will be in Bedford for 3 days of Swim Provincials. Very excited for my kids and the team to compete. Its a lot of fun.
My food the last few days:
Wednesday: (fought off a migraine, I won!)
breakfast: toasted whole grain english muffin with natural peanut butter, coffee
snack: cottage cheese, banana
Lunch: Gardennay vegetable soup, (this was delish). it is low in calories but a bit high in Sodium. It is comfort food and helped take my headache away.
snack: vanilla yogurt
Supper: pork, rice
Thursday
breakfast: toasted whole grain english muffin with natural peanut butter, coffee
snack: cottage cheese
lunch: chicken wrap, dill pickle, dijon mustard, two small slices of cheddar
snack: banana
supper: leftover pork, fresh garden corn on cob (so tasty), sliced cucumbers
I need to add some more protein to my snacks. Again, been so busy at work, I barely register at snack time, I don't have 'hunger pains' or an empty stomach like I used to before I changed my eating habits. When i was eating junk, i would be raveneous and have unending hunger. Glad that is gone. It used to be very distracting and I would not be able to concentrate when I was hungry.
That is all for now, not sure when I will get on line again, busy weekend!! :)
