I had a good day today. Very busy, left the house at 8 am and got home at 915 pm. Whew! busy busy!
Breakfast: yogurt, almonds, banana, coffee
Snack: cottage cheese with strawberries
Lunch: chicken breast on a wrap, with dill pickle, dijon mustard, two small slices of cheddar
Snack: almonds, hard boiled egg
Supper: tuna with a dash of mayo, and pepper
I had a lunch workout. Mary Ann used the gymstick to make us sweat. She gave us lots of work for the buns and the arms, great workout. I am sore already!!! Mary Ann has lunch classes that for five days a week, target all your parts, Ab work, legs, biceps, triceps, you name HEAT has it!! I love the muscle conditioning. I try to do 2-3 lunch classes per week, and then get a cardio class in when I can. Evenings are tricky for me these days, but I've been trying to get in there on Saturday mornings. I may try to hit Zumba on Thursday night!!! Love that class, fun fun fun!
I am very pleased with my sucess so far. I read Mark's post today and he talks about the benefits of a postive attitude, affirmations. I use these often. It is also great to get verbal confirmation from others; my Mom last week said "wow, you look great" she had not seen me for a couple of weeks. And one of my coworkers, the lovely Gina Walsh, also noticed a change in me since I started this journey. And Kevin's Mom, Brenda always gives me encouragement and it sure helps ot have others support and cheer you on.
I believe in slow and steady. I didn't have oodles and oodles of weight to lose, so it pays to take the time to do it right. No fad diets, no gimmicks, just eat right and MOVE MORE!!!
